Support a Child's Learning - Sponsor a Desk
We’ve had an urgent call for help from our dear friend at Bangalore City Mission, Jonathon Paul. An influx of students has created a shortfall of classroom furniture with 140 students at the school lacking desks at which to learn. These children who are desperate to learn are sitting on the floor or on damaged benches – neither is conducive to learning. Imagine trying to learn (or teach!) without the bare basics of a desk and chair.
For $215, you can purchase a dual-seater desk and bench set that will allow two students to be properly seated in the classroom. These desks will support generations of students – a small but significant investment in empowerment through education.
